Do you know what your Chinese zodiac animal is and what the characteristics it represents? Are you curious about how Chinese people celebrate their New Year? If your answer is yes, then you should try this app!

The app is a bilingual role-playing game in which you will become a cute little boy called Fu-bao and will take part in the Chinese New Year celebration in the Baizi Village. The hospitable villagers there will introduce you to some traditional activities people usually do (e.g. making Paper-cuts for Window Decoration, making Yuanxiao Dumplings and so on) and will give you chances to experience those activities. You will know what they do on a specific day and why they do so.

In addition, there is a “Chinese zodiac” button on the main page, which contains much information, too. After clicking it, you will see an introduction of the Chinese zodiac on the left page. On the right page, you can choose your birth date and find out the zodiac you belong to and the characteristics it is. How interesting!

Every element of this app (e.g. buildings, decorations, music and so on) is so typical, elaborate, and attractive that it can easily draw people’s attention and make them become acquainted with the culture behind unwittingly.

Interest always plays an important role in learning. The app introduces the festival and traditions all-round and in detail with an appealing story line and several interesting games. It can not only develop child’s observation, coordination, etc but gaining their cultural knowledge of Chinese New Year. Both children and adults can have lots of fun and knowledge from it.

Sometimes even adults can not pass the tasks easily. So are you ready to take up the challenge?

  1. Hello there! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.

Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about making my own but
I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any points or suggestions? Many thanks
