Did you exercise today? 你今天運動了嗎?

美國心臟協會的研究人員,分析了全球二十八個國家,過去四十六年來超過二千五百萬個兒童的運動情況。發現現在的兒童跑一英哩(1mile)的速度比30年前的兒童慢1.5分鐘。由於兒童時期的活動會影響成年後的健康,因此專家鼓勵兒童及青少年可以利用步行或騎腳踏車的方式上學,分散運動時間,保持心血管健康。

The American Heart Association has done a research among 28 countries worldwide, analyzing the exercise condition of 25 millions of kids for the past 46 years.  The research found that children nowadays run 1.5 minutes slower than their counterparts did 30 years ago.  Considering the amount of activity in childhood may influence the health when growing up, experts encourage kids and youths to walk or to ride bicycles to school as dispersing exercise hours and keeping cardiovascular in good condition.
