More than 100 World Leaders Mourned for Mandela’s Death 曼德拉辭世,全球100多位領袖追悼

致力於南非(Republic of South Africa)人權的曼德拉 (Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela)於12月5日辭世,全球有一百多位領袖,如美國總統歐巴馬 (Barack Obama)、英國首相卡麥隆(David Cameron)、荷蘭國王(Willem-Alexander)等人,參與了10日的追悼會。過去半世紀,曼德拉帶領南非人民對抗種族隔離,因此坐牢27年。出獄後,曼德拉成為南非第一位黑人總統,推行民族和解,使人人可以自由、平等的生活,帶來和平的新世界。

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, who had strived for the human rights of Republic of South Africa, passed away on December 5.  More than one hundred world leaders such as U.S. President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander participated in the memorial on the 10th.  Over the past half-century, Mandela led the people in South Africa to fight against apartheid and was thus imprisoned for 27 years.  After his release, Mandela became South Africa’s first black president, putting national reconciliation into effect, which allowed people to have free and equal life that brought a new world of peace.
